Boccia Tatra Cup 2025
9th year of the open international boccia tournament
THE INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT OF INDIVIDUALS, PAIRS AND TEAMS IN THE PARALYMPIC SPORT OF BOCCIA, the first and still the only international boccia tournament in Slovakia – the friendly tournament with the tradition, the good name and a quality player roster, open to all boccia players with national classification (BC1, BC2, BC3, BC4, BC5) regardless of their performance level
+ 2nd year of the INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT OF 3-member INTEGRATION BOCCIA TEAMS, open to all boccia players without sports classification – historically the first and only international tournament in integration boccia in the region
+ ACCOMPANYING PROGRAM focused on supporting the boccia development, social inclusion and active relaxation of participants

Individual, pair and team tournament in BOCCIA Paralympic sport / conditions
The international tournament for classified boccia players of all performance levels
COMPETITION CATEGORIES:
Individuals: BC1, BC2, BC3, BC4/5 (regardless of gender)
Pairs: BC3, BC4/5
Teams: BC1/2
Participation conditions:
Players with national or even international classification – categories BC1, BC2, BC3, BC4 and BC5.
Possibility to assemble a Pair/Team regardless of the club or national affiliation and gender of the players.
Maximum 3 players in one category from 1 country.
Registration of players: until April 30, 2025 (more information in the REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS tab)
3-member integration team tournament in boccia / conditions
The international tournament of 3-member Integration Teams regardless of gender of members of the team
System of competition:
The standard rules for the team competition, players without wheelchairs compete from a chair.
Participation conditions:
Players with some disability without sports classification and without conditions to use a wheelchair, seniors, anyone from the entourage and support teams of the present classified players.
Possibility of 1 substitute.
Maximum 3 teams from 1 country.

Sports hall, playing surface, prices
The Sports Hall is part of the Alexandra Wellness Hotel*** hotel complex.
The hall is barrier-free, with one shared barrier-free toilet and a barrier-free changing room with shower and toilet.
Capacity of the hall: 7 playing courts
Playing surface: laminate floor
Prizes: medals, trophies, diplomas, small in-kind prizes

Contents: innovation of BISFed rules for refereeing boccia matches for the period 2025 – 28, discussion about controversial rules, practical training in practice matches, exchange of experiences + methodological material

Professionally led sports meetings and joint boccia trainings, 4 x 2 hours
Date and location: June 19 – 22, 2025 (Thursday – Sunday) evening or early evening (after the end of the daily tournament program) directly in the sports hall
Contents: effective training methods, throwing practice, game tactics, individuals, pairs and teams training matches, advice in the field of player sports equipment, individual mentorin, exchange of experience
LECTURERS:
Michaela Balcová – the former BC4 player, long-time SVK representative and holder of 2 gold Paralympic medals in the BC4 Pairs category / now coach of the SVK junior team
Samuel Andrejčík – the former BC4 player, long-time SVK representative, holder of a total of 4 Paralympic medals (BC4 Individuals: 1 x silver, 1 x gold, BC4 Pairs: 2 x gold) / now SVK and WorldBoccia technical delegate)
Participation conditions:
Registered participants of the Boccia Tatra Cup 2025 event (classified and unclassified boccia players, club coaches, sports assistants, staff) – registration directly in the sports hall according to individual interest in the program of the day.

ACCOMMODATION
The hotel has an entrance via a fixed access ramp, two elevators, one shared barrier-free toilet, one shared barrier-free dressing room with shower and toilet. Several larger rooms and suites are also available, but the width of the bathroom and toilet door frames is only 60 cm.
Participants who will be accommodated directly at the Alexandra Wellness Hotel*** have FREE ANTRY to fitness, wellness and swimming pool (as well as the sports hall, it is located directly in the hotel).
MEALS

A) OBLIGATORY STARTING FEE: 80 € / 1 person
Only foreign players starting at the international tournament in Paralympic boccia are paying.
SVK players and players of integration boccia do not pay the starting fee.
B) FEE FOR ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS / OPTIONAL: 480 € / 1 person
The price includes 6 x accommodation with all-day meals (breakfast and dinner – buffet, uniform lunch) from Wednesday June 18, 2025 (dinner) to Tuesday June 24, 2025 (breakfast) in Alexandra Wellness Hotel***, Liptovský Ján.
In the case of individual accommodation, it is possible to order joint lunchs at the venue of the event (Alexandra Wellness Hotel*** restaurant) at the price of € 8/1 person per day.
